8^th Grade Language Arts, Literature, Latin: April 14-18

We are completing the i-stem verbs in Latin.  We have read an essay by Isaac Asimov, who begins his piece with a poem by Walt Whitman. We are looking at the connotation of words as well as asking questions to evaluate the author’s opinions. We will also begin a review of grammar using the Shurley method.
