7th Grade Language Arts, Literature, Latin August 25-29
Alas, the lazy hazy days of summer are over, and we must get to work. To avoid full tilt panic we’ll start slowly this first week and be back in shape after Labor Day. We’ll be working on your writing skills and helping you become more productive readers. First we’ll review the Latin vocabulary we started at the end of last year to wake up those brain cells and get ready for the routine. We will begin the study of the similarities of fiction and nonfiction. You will be expected to read every evening, and you will keep a log of what you read and take AR tests for points each six weeks. This is going to be a good year. We’ll work hard, but you will have fun. These plans are subject to change according to students’ needs
