Course description: Texts: Prentice Hall Literature, The Shurley Method: English Made Easy. Clear expressions of ideas and knowledge of the structure of our language are the two interweaving strands presented in our Seventh Grade Language Arts program. The students are provided many opportunities to write while studying grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and spelling. Projects include memoirs, short and long reports, stories, essays, and poetry.
Grading Scheme: Participation 10%; Homework 15%; Class work 15%; Quizzes 20%, Tests 25%; Homework is due on the date assigned. Late work will not receive a grade but must be completed. Teacher: Lisl Bambas
