Course description: Texts: Scott Foresman, Reading Street & The Shurley Method: English Made Easy. The Language Arts program encompasses two interweaving strands: expression of ideas and knowledge of the structure of English. The students are provided numerous opportunities to produce reports, essays, and creative works while studying grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and spelling.
Grading Scheme: Participation 10%; Homework 15%; Class work 15%; Quizzes 20%, Tests 25%; Homework is due on the date assigned. Late work will not receive a grade but must be completed. Teacher: Lisl Bambas
