6th Grade Language Arts, Literature, Latin Oct. 6-10
Since this is the 7th week of the term, we’ll be able to do some special projects. We will read The Bronze Bow, by Elizabeth George Speare, about a group of friends who lived in Galilee during the time of Jesus. Our discussions will cover author’s craft, vocabulary, and literary elements: setting, exposition, rising action, climax, resolution, theme, and mood. As always these plans are subject to change according to the needs of the students.
