8th Grade Language Arts, Literature, Latin: Oct. 14-17
This week we will continue with the chapter on how to give a synopsis of a Latin verb. [Instead of having to write the entire conjugation for every tense, we write one verb in all tenses using the same person and number.] We will try to finish reading The Crucible although realistically we may lap over into next week. Our discussions will cover authors craft, vocabulary, and literary elements: setting, exposition, rising action, climax, resolution, theme, and mood. As always these plans are subject to change according to the needs of the students.
