This is going to be an exciting week because of Base Camp and our dance at the end of the week; however, we do have to squeeze in a little work.  We will move onto the chapter on Sum: the verb of being.  We will finish Nine Years this week.  The whole middle school will be working on the VFW contest paper: Why America’a veterans should be honored. THE VETERAN’S ESSAY IS DUE ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 28!

7th grade assignments 10-27-10-31-08

Election Project:  change assignment for this week to making a campaign poster for one candidate: either McCain, Obama, Ralph Nader, or Bob Barr.  Poster will be on 81/2 by 11’ paper, illustrated with color.  It must also show why someone should vote for the candidate: attributes, characteristics, experience, where they stand on issues.  NO credit will be given for any poster that mentions another candidate in a derogatory manner.

 

Monday:  Read the “French Challenge”  Answer questions re: LaSalle: www.thc.state.tx.us./belle

 

Tuesday:           Finish reading ch. 7 pg 139-149.  Finish chart and map in class and for homework.

 

Wednesday:     Check chart, read play San Saba Mission. No hw.
