7th Grade Language Arts, Literature, Latin Nov. 17-21
Last week of 2nd term
We are still working on past tenses in Latin. I want to be sure that the girls understand this concept before we move on to more grammar. Then they will begin their Christmas story. This story may be an aspect of the original Christmas story or a modern “true meaning of Christmas” story. The students will be able to showcase their writing skills, their understanding of the elements of a short story, and their knowledge of the mechanics of writing. ALL STORIES MUST BE COMPLETED BY DECEMBER 16 so they can be properly copied and bound. That includes artwork and decorating pages. Also, we do not have colored ink, so please prepare for this assignment with ink, paper, etc. or make arrangements to have the works printed at an office supply.
