Kindergarten Class News and Assignments - August 31, 2009

This week in Kindergarten we will be reviewing the letters F-M and reading the book, "Fix It Duck".  In the story Duck tries to help his friends.  We will spend some time this week thinking about how we can help others.

In Math we will finish patterns and go on to sorting.  There are many ways to sort things-color, size, use, and shape.  We will sort lots of things.  Many of them will be the tools that Duck used to try and help his friends.

Assignments:

Read "I Am" and "Who Am I?" each night.

We will be writing in our journals about how we help others at home.  If your child does not have a regular chore, perhaps you could come up with something they could do this week that they could use in their journal writing.
