8th Grade Language Arts, Literature, Latin: Sept 21-25
Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend and a dry field trip last Friday. This week in Latin we will finish our introduction to the three tenses that build off the present stem of the second conjugation verbs. There will be a quiz on Thursday on the second declension neuter words. We will do some more writing. We will work on the essay section of the science project. Since we will be writing, you all will need to bring in your USB or your own laptop. We’ll continue with reviewing sentence patterns in grammar and work on recognizing capitalization and punctuation errors. In Literature, we’ll read a little narrative essay about Harriet Tubman.
