WHAT'S NEW AT ST. STEPHEN'S SCHOOL
KVUE Meteorologist to Judge St. Stephen’s Science Fair in Wimberley

St. Stephen’s Episcopal School students will present their findings and explain their hypotheses at the school’s annual science fair on March 1, 2007, in the gymnasium from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

KVUE Meteorologist George Kanuck will be among the judges reviewing the projects and interviewing students. Kanuck has been a Daybreak reporter and weekend meteorologist for KVUE, the ABC affiliate in Austin, since November 2004.

Winning students in grade levels four through eight will represent St. Stephen’s in the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools Regional Science Fair in Victoria on April 12 – 13, 2007.

St. Stephen’s science teacher Lauren Burrus is coordinating the fair. “The science fair is one of the ways that we can involve all students in grades pre-K through grade 8 in the scientific process,” said Burrus.
