ST. STEPHEN'S SCHOOL FACULTY & STAFF
2007-2008 Faculty

Lisl Bambas has been a faculty member since 1989 and will continue to serve as our Middle School Team Coordinator and teach Middle School Language Arts and Latin. Lisl has a BA from Wheaton College, an MEd from the University of Houston and a Masters Diploma in English Studies from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Debbie Boxley has been a faculty member since 1993 and will serve as a Kindergarten Teacher’s Assistant.

Lauren Burrus has been our Science Department Chair since 2006. Lauren has a BS from the University of Cincinnati and an MEd from Xavier University. Lauren will teach science 5th-8th grade.

Susan Campbell has been a faculty member since 2006 and has BS in Elementary Education. Susan will continue to teach our Early Childhood 2 year olds.      

Jamie Crawford has been a faculty member since 1998 and has a BS in Elementary Education and MEd from Texas State University. Jamie will continue to teach 1st Grade.

Clare Frazier-Wilson has been a faculty member since 1996 and will continue as Art Teacher and Teacher’s Assistant.

Bettie Frost has been a faculty member since 1997 and has a BS in Elementary Education and MEd from Texas State University and will continue to teach our Early Childhood 4-year olds.

Erika Ganey is new to our faculty with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Bilingual Studies and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Erika comes to us with 8 years of teaching experience at Dripping Springs ISD, Alamo Heights ISD, and Southwest ISD. Erika teaches 2nd grade  providing a Spanish immersion component to that curriculum. 

Rebecca Gilpin has been a faculty member since 2001 and has a BS in Elementary Education and Gifted and Talented Certification from the University of Houston. Rebecca will serve as our Intermediate School Team Coordinator and Fifth Grade Teacher.

Michael Glendenning is new to our faculty with a Bachelor in Educational Sports Science and a minor in Biology from Texas State University and will complete his MEd in Exercise Science from Texas State University in August of 2008. Michael comes to us with six years of physical education teaching experience at the Kirby Hall School in Austin and Hays CISD. Michael will teach motor skills and physical education Early Childhood through 8th Grade. 

Mose Hale has been a faculty member since 2006 and has a BS from West Texas A&M University and an MEd from West Texas A&M University. Mose is the former Headmaster at Sandia Preparatory School, Albuquerque, NM. and former Headmaster at the Roycemore School, Evanston, IL., and will teach 5th and 6th grade mathematics.

Ruth Ann Harwell has been a faculty member since 2001 and has a BS and MEd from Texas Woman’s University. Ruth Ann, a reading specialist with dyslexia training, will work in our Center for Evaluation and Academic Services, a service for academic acceleration and remediation.

Sarah Hirsch is new to our faculty and comes to us with a BS from California State University, Long Beach and Spanish Bilingual Certification from the University of Southern California. Sarah comes to us with 20 years of teaching experience from the Princeton Friends Quaker School, Yeshiva Shaarei Tzion School, Capistrano Unified School District, Santa Ana Unified School District, and Saint Barbara School. Sarah will teach our 3rd Grade. 

Mary Jarosz has a Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Texas and been a faculty member since 1995. Mary will work as an Early Childhood Teacher’s Assistant.

Jo Martin is new to our faculty this year and will serve as an Early Childhood Teacher's Assistant. 

Susan Myers has been a faculty member since 1990 has a BS in Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Susan will serve as our Early Childhood part-time 4-year old Teacher. 

Lois Neumeyer is new to our faculty this year, coming to us with a BS in Inter-disciplinary Studies from Texas State University and ten years of experience at Dripping Springs ISD as a teacher, team leader, and instructional facilitator. Lois will teach our 4th Grade.

Kenn Peters has a BS in Sociology from the University Wisconsin at Oshkosh and an MS in Education from the University of Mississippi. Kenn will continue to serve as our Early Childhood to 8th Grade Spanish Specialist and the Director of Programs. 

Diana Riepe has been a faculty member since 1995 and has a Bachelors and Masters in Music from Texas State University and Kodaly Certificate from the Zoldan Kodaly Pedagogical Institute, Kecsckemet, Hungary and Massachusetts, Kodaly Certificate, Kodaly Center of America. Diana will serve as our Early Childhood to 8th Grade Music Specialist and Specials Team Coordinator.

Laura Romano has been a faculty member since 1998 and holds a BS and MEd from Texas State University. Laura will serve as our Academic Dean, coordinating all Individual Academic Plans, and as our Early Childhood Team Coordinator. 

Terri Rounsaville has been a faculty member since 2003 and holds a BS in Education from the University of Oklahoma and an MEd from Texas Tech University. Terri will continue to teach our part-time 3-year olds.

Jeri Schake is new to our faculty this year, coming to us with a BA in Teaching from Sam Houston University and a Med from Texas A&M University. Jerri comes to us with 7 years of teaching experience from Conroe ISD, Navasota ISD, Amarillo ISD and Canyon ISD. Jerri will teach or full-time 3-year olds.

Sarah Sherwood has been a faculty member since 2000 and holds a BS from the University of Texas at El Paso. Sarah will continue to teach Middle School History and team-teach Middle School Physical Education.

Cindy Taylor has been a faculty member since 2006 with a BS in Business and Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Cindy is the Coordinator of Youth Ministries at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and will continue to serve as our Middle School Religion Teacher.

Carol Thomas has been a faculty member since 1996 and holds a BS in Education from the University of Houston. Carol will continue to serve as a Kindergarten Teacher.

Roger Thompson is new to our faculty with a BS in Mathematics Education from the University of Texas Austin and a Med from Texas State University. Roger serves as a Middle School Math Teacher. 

Megan Treadway is new to our faculty with a BA in Elementary Education from Texas State University and teaching experience at Carver Kindergarten, Lockhart ISD. Megan team teaches in the 1st Grade.
