Literature

AR points for the 5^th six weeks are due on March 28.   Students should read 15 – 20 minutes every night.  Class work not finished during class becomes homework.

Language Arts and Latin

This week we will be studying common compound words in spelling.  The test will be on Friday.  We’ll also tackle demonstrative adjectives (this, that, these, those).  Our Latin test will be on Thursday.  These are the words from last week.  This week we’ll begin our outlines, which is a great help in writing the research reports.  The kids should be prepared to begin their rough drafts March 31.
