Music from the Age of Romance and Elegance

Be transported back in time to the Golden Age, the early days of the twentieth century, when there was time to relax in elegant coffee and tea rooms in grand hotels, listening to joyous and sentimental music.  Enjoy reminiscing with tea and coffee, cucumber sandwiches, cream scones and small cakes.  Medlies of arrangements of operas by Gounod and Lalo and music by Gabriel Pierne, Rudolf Friml and Oscar Strauss, in addition to many delightful nostalgic trios will be played by Miranda Dale (violinist in the Philharmonica Orchestra, London) Margaret Coltman (Austin cellist) and Felicity Coltman (pianist, founder and Artististic Director Emeritus of the Austin Chamber Music Center and our own extra curricular piano teacher!) Tickets at the door.  First Presbyterian Church, Austin.  Sunday, April, 6, 3:00 pm.

Speaking of Music………………..
