About the School: Accreditation and Licensing

St. Stephen's Episcopal School is fully accredited by SAES (Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools) and is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. Both are official accrediting agencies and are recognized by the Texas Education Agency.

St. Stephen's Episcopal School adheres to the state guidelines set forth by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (TDPRS). This department has recognized this fact and has licensed both the School and Extended Care (as a Day Care Program). Unscheduled visits by this department occur during the school year to ensure that we maintain a consistent quality in our programs.
